Indian technology company Wishtel has expanded its tablet portfolio with the launch of the IRA Duo Pro 5G, a device designed for students, professionals and enterprise users seeking an affordable productivity-focused tablet. Rather than competing solely on premium specifications, the company is positioning the tablet as a complete computing solution by bundling accessories such as a detachable keyboard, stylus, charger and OTG cable.
The IRA Duo Pro 5G features a 12-inch LCD display with a 2000×1200 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, powered by the Unisoc T760 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The tablet supports expandable storage of up to 1TB via a microSD card and includes dual USB-C ports, one of which supports external display output. It also offers built-in 5G connectivity through a physical SIM slot, making it suitable for users who need internet access away from Wi-Fi networks.
Wishtel has equipped the tablet with a 10,000mAh battery aimed at delivering extended usage on a single charge. The device runs Android 14 out of the box, with the company promising future upgrades to Android 16 and Android 17. It also includes productivity features such as split-screen multitasking and a clean Android interface, making it suitable for document editing, online learning and office work.
While the IRA Duo Pro 5G faces competition from devices such as the OnePlus Pad 2 and Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G, its bundled accessories and enterprise-focused approach help distinguish it in the market. Wishtel also highlights its participation in India's Right to Repair initiative, which supports easier access to spare parts and repair documentation, reinforcing the company's focus on long-term usability and affordability.
